New at Bandzoogle: smarter search, easier sharing, and better promotion
Posted by Julia Kater on Nov 21, 2025 in: Bandzoogle News, Website Tips, New Features

If you’ve been building your music career on Bandzoogle, you’ve probably noticed a theme with our updates lately: lots of little improvements that make running your site, store, and fan promotions feel way smoother.
This roundup walks through the newest tweaks and tools we’ve rolled out across our website, EPK, and merch plans—from cleaner store layouts, to searchable dropdowns, to a brand-new way to share your site. All of these improvements are designed to help you spend less time looking for settings, and more time making—and promoting—your music.
1. A new 'Share' button in the site preview panel
2. A new project selection panel
3. Archiving old products without losing your history
4. Searching inside Files, Galleries, Music, and PDFs
5. Searchable dropdowns for free downloads
6. Bandzoogle in the Bandsintown for Artists Marketplace
1. A new 'Share' button in the site preview panel
When you click the 'View site' button in your Bandzoogle editor, you’ll now see a 'Share' button in the top bar instead of separate Facebook and X links.
Clicking it opens a share modal where you can:
- Copy your website URL in one click;
- Share directly to Facebook, Threads, X, and email;
- Copy, print, or download the QR code generated for the page you're previewing.
It’s a small change that gives you a faster, more flexible way to send fans exactly where you want them to go.

Why this helps
- At shows: Print the QR code on a setlist, poster, or table sign so fans can scan to join your mailing list or hit your store on the spot.
- On social: Use the same link or QR code across platforms.
- For promo assets: Drop the QR code into flyers, album inserts, or business cards.
Pro tip: QR codes are especially powerful at live shows, so look for ways to work them into your stage visuals, signage, and merch table to elevate the experience.
2. A new project selection panel
When you log in to Bandzoogle and have more than one project, you’ll now see a redesigned selection panel.
Instead of a simple text list of site names, the new panel shows:
- A thumbnail preview image of each project
- The project name and URL
- The date it was created
- The date it was last updated
This makes it much easier to scan your projects at a glance and pick the right one to edit.

Why this helps
- No more guessing: If you’ve spun up several trials, test sites, or EPKs with similar names, the thumbnails and dates make it clear which version is live and which ones are old or expired.
- Faster workflow: You can jump straight into the project you’re actively working on, without clicking into the wrong site and backing out again.
- More context: Seeing when a project was created and last updated helps you quickly spot which sites are current, experimental, or due for a refresh.
Pro tip: Use this panel to keep a separate “test” version of your site alongside your main one—update layouts, colors, or pages on the test project first, then apply your favorite changes to the live site with confidence.
It’s a small change that makes managing multiple Bandzoogle projects clearer, faster, and intuitive.
3. Archiving old products without losing your history
If you’ve been selling merch, music, and downloads for a while, your product list can get pretty long. To help with that, you can now archive products in your Bandzoogle store instead of deleting them.
When you archive a product, it:
- Moves into a dedicated Archived view in your Products list
- Is removed from all Store features and their share links across your site
- Will no longer be sold as part of a digital album bundle if it’s a music product (like a CD that’s linked to that album)
- Can be unarchived at any time from the Products table if you want to add it back to your store later

Why this helps
- Clean, current storefront: You can retire old tour shirts, past designs, or outdated offers without cluttering up the fan-facing store.
- Keeping your history intact: Unlike deleting a product, archiving it keeps all of the product details and sales history safely in your account.
- Perfect for campaign-based merch: Pre-order bundles, seasonal drops, and limited runs can be paused after a campaign ends, then revived for special occasions later on.
Pro tip: Use archiving to build a vault of past items—then, when you’re planning an anniversary, special edition, or fan-club-only sale, unarchive a few favorites and relaunch them as limited-time throwbacks.
4. Searching inside Files, Galleries, Music, and PDFs
If you’ve ever scrolled through page after page looking for that one live photo or backing track, this update will save you a ton of time.
The Files section in Bandzoogle accounts now includes a search field inside these screens:
- Files
- Photo galleries
- Music
- Page PDFs
Type a word or phrase and results appear instantly, with your search term highlighted in the matches.

Why this helps
- Quickly grab older assets when you’re refreshing your site design
- Find the right track or album when you’re setting up a store, Smart Link, or free download
- Track down PDFs (like charts, press kits, or lyric sheets) without digging through folders
Pro tip: As you upload new content, give files clear, consistent names (like City-Year-Venue-Live or AlbumName-SingleVersion). Your future self will thank you when those keywords make every search a one-second job.
5. Searchable dropdowns for free downloads
Next up: Bandzoogle's free download tools now come with searchable dropdowns, too.
You’ll now see searchable dropdowns wherever you choose which album or track to use as a free download from your Music library, including:
- Mailing List sign-up forms: pick the album or track fans receive when they join your list
- Email a download from the Music feature: quickly choose which release to send to a fan or industry contact
- Call-to-action headers that promise a free track or album in exchange for an action

Why this helps
- Free downloads are still one of the most effective ways to grow your mailing list, reward superfans, and promote a new album or single.
- Instead of scrolling through a long list of every release you’ve uploaded, you can simply start typing an album or track name and select it in seconds.
Pro tip: Set up different free downloads for different funnels on your site: one track as a welcome gift on your mailing list form, another tied to a CTA header for a specific campaign, and a third you send manually via the 'Email a download' option to press, playlist curators, or collaborators. With searchable dropdowns, swapping and testing these offers is quick and low-friction.
