New: Import your music from DistroKid to Bandzoogle
Posted by Adam Percy on Apr 15, 2026 in: Bandzoogle News, Music Marketing & Promotion, New Features, Selling Music Online, Music Distribution

Since becoming part of the DistroKid universe, we've been building new ways for Bandzoogle and DistroKid members to move faster across both platforms. Seamless integrations are a top priority for us, and today we're excited to announce a brand new option available on all Bandzoogle website plans:
Import tracks directly from DistroKid
If you’re a DistroKid subscriber with music already uploaded to your account, you can now connect DistroKid inside your Bandzoogle account and import your tracks straight onto your website for playback and download.
That means no more uploading the same tracks twice. Once your music is in DistroKid, you can pull it into your Bandzoogle account in just a few clicks and start featuring (and selling) it on your website right away.
You'll get the best of both worlds: DistroKid’s world-class distribution, plus the ability to sell downloads directly from your own music website — commission-free.
How it works
There are two ways to import DistroKid tracks into your Bandzoogle account:
Option 1: From your Bandzoogle music feature
- Open your site's music feature
- Click 'Add track'
- Choose 'Import from DistroKid'
- Sign in to your DistroKid account
- You’ll see a list of tracks appear — click 'Import track' beside the songs you want
Option 2: From your Bandzoogle File Manager
- Open your File Manager
- Click the Music tab
- Click 'Import music from DistroKid'
- Connect your DistroKid account
- Click 'Import music' beside a release to import all the tracks from that release
Why you'll love it
Importing is way faster than uploading, especially if you've already built up a catalog on DistroKid and want to start selling downloads directly to fans from your own website. It's a serious time-saver.
Plus, your track info comes with you. When you import from DistroKid, Bandzoogle brings over key release metadata, including:
That's especially useful if you're a Bandzoogle Pro Plan user and want your sales properly tracked with Luminate (formerly SoundScan), the company that powers the Billboard charts.
And here's another important detail: this process isn't just "linking" to your DistroKid music. Imported tracks come over as full audio files in FLAC format, and include all your file tagging. Once imported, the tracks live in your Bandzoogle account — so, even if you disconnect DistroKid later, your music stays available on your site for playback and sale.
Make your next release easier
This update is all about saving you steps going forward. For your next release, upload to DistroKid for distribution, then pull those tracks into Bandzoogle with a quick import and sell downloads directly from your music website. That's one upload with two powerful ways to share and sell — less admin, and more time for you to focus on your music and your release plan.
