Adding sale pricing and promo codes

To make fans feel valued and boost sales, it can be a good idea to occasionally add sales and discounts in your store. This can be done by setting a discounted sale price on certain products, or by creating a promo code that can be redeemed on any item in your store for a set % or dollar amount off. Sales and discount options are available to Pro plan members.

To add sale pricing to a specific product in your store:

  1. Open the 'Selling Tools' tab in your control panel
  2. Click on 'Products' in the menu on the left of the screen
  3. Scroll down in the 'Product' list and click the Actions “...” icon next to the product you'd like to adjust
  4. Click the 'Edit' option
  5. Scroll down to the 'Pricing' section and toggle on the 'Is on sale option
  6. Add the new discounted price in the 'Sale price' field
  7. Click 'Save' to activate the discount

To create a promo code for your store:

  1. Navigate to the 'Selling Tools' tab in your control panel
  2. Click 'Discount Codes' in the menu on the left
  3. Click 'Add a discount code'
  4. Complete the following steps:
    • Enter the code you would like to use for the promotion (this can be a mix of letters and numbers)
    • Select the % discount for the promotion

Note: The promo code can be used for any product for sale on your website. It's not currently possible to create a promo code to apply to specific products. For this, consider using sale pricing instead.

    • Active: Toggle this on to make the promotion active on your website. Toggle off to disable the promo code
    • Never expires: Toggle this off to set an expiry date for the promotion

You can share the discount code with your fans by promoting it on your website, through your email list, or on your social media.
